About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events.

On the next episode of About Towne we’ll check out the Texas Women in Music Festival at the Texas Musicians Museum. We’ll meet the production team from CollabFeature’s “Train Station.” And we’ll have a preview of MainStage Irving/Las Colinas’ “Talking  Pictures.” Plus, we’ll get all the details on the Cynthia Ann & Quanah Parker exhibit at the Irving Arts Center, we’ll catch up on the concerts coming up at the Texas Musicians Museum and we’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the New Philharmonic Orchestra’s upcoming performance at the Soluna Music Festival in Dallas.

It is festival time on About Towne! We’ll have highlights from Taste of Irving 2017 and we’ll bring you stories on the 10th Annual Dragon Boat, Kite and Lantern Festival at Lake Carolyn. Plus, we’ll preview two great fundraisers:  the Irving Kids Charity Classic and MainStage’s Irving/Las Colinas’ “Fun in the Sun.”
